10.5.1 Reporting Weapons Concerns
Pursuant to N.C. House Bill 1008, possession of or carrying a firearm or explosive on campus is a Class I Felony. This same bill makes it a misdemeanor to possess or carry—either open or concealed—switchblades, knives, razors, blackjacks, etc., on the College’s property. The policy at Â鶹ÊÓƵ is that no weapons of any sort will be allowed on campus, other than as allowed by law.
