5.4 Appointment, Separation, and Re-Employment

Full-time employees will be hired and contracted for a specific length of time within a fiscal year. Part-time employees are employed for a specific period of time within a fiscal year on a part-time temporary basis.

The President may transfer, promote, reassign, or demote any Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ employee. There is no implication or commitment of continued employment beyond the ending date specified in the employment agreement. A decision by the College not to re-employ is not subject to the Grievance Procedures.
